Randy and Sandy have two children, and they decided last year to relocate to the Dominican Republic from New York. They had grown tired of the rat race of the city, and wanted an easier pace of life. They spent hours researching the where in the DR would be suitable for them. Finally they made the choice that Punta Cana was where they wanted to base their new life, as they’d vacationed here many times before and were familiar with the area.
They contacted the team at Punta Cana Lifestyles to help find them a condo, as well as some inside knowledge of what’s hot in the area.
One of the first things they asked us about was schooling options for their kids. At 7 and 4, they had already started their education in the States, so they needed a setting that would provide them with a similar standard to what they’re accustomed to.
There are three main private schools in Punta Cana with a bilingual curriculum:
Cap Cana Heritage School
Based in Cap Cana, just a few minutes drive from the airport; this world-class facility has everything you’d expect from an international school. All classrooms are air-conditioned and facilities include a full sized basketball court and swimming pool. Suitable from age one all the way through to high school grade 12, your child will enjoy a full and stimulating curriculum. With many extra curricular activities available to support and enhance their regular curriculum, students will always have something to enjoy!
